Please take a look at this Bronze Hallow Tank Badge and let me know your comments. Is this an original item? If it is original what Maker is it? How do you know who made it? Since it is hallow is it then considered late war? In advance Thank you very much for your comments and input! JME

It looks good from where I set. I'm not so sure a time frame for these can be nailed down. I would say early to mid war. Will do some more looking as time allows.
Must wait for more responses on maker.

derjager, paulbear and fritziii, Thank you all so very much for your reply! Sometimes, I feel like the more I look at something the less I know. All the time I am so impressed with the knowledge of people on this site! Does anybody know of who might have made this badge? Thank you again for your feedback! JME

Hi derjager, Thanks for pointing out this sight I have checked it out and thought it might be a possible Wuster. I had the same problem as you after some time it all got blurry. Looking at this again today I am almost sure it is a Wuster. Again almost sure! With a lot of this hobby there are many time were I am almost sure If somebody else has a comment please let us know. Very much appreciate your efforts and Thanks again derjager for your help! JME

William, good catch. My example from the link is a Wurster. The difference is now obvious. --dj--Joe

Hi guys,
Yes, I would agree that it is not Wurster but an S&L hollowback. Along with the obverse design, this type of hinge only seems to have been used by S&L.
