Hi, Jamie. How is the world of collecting treating you? I have had these for a number of years now. I thought RAD medals had been posted before but a search brought up nada. --dj--Joe

Very nice Joe, you just need the female ones now.

Don, it would be nice to have a Female RAD L.S. award. I did see a bronze about 10 years back but the Gent. wanted $200.00 and that just wasn't going to happen. Roll Eyes --dj--Joe I do have a silver mini.

Kevin, thanks much! Was wondering about base metals on these. My three large examples are non magnetic with the exception of the small ribbon eagle of the 25 year example. All are light weight, none show any sign of zinc corrosion so I am thinking aluminum? My mini. is tombac base. Can you tell what the base metal of your examples are? --dj--Joe

Joe,
My male RAD LS medals are all non magnetic and also very light weight. Mine show no sign of corrosion either.

It's been a long time since this topic was started. I will attempt to replace my missing images of the miniature. Anyone wish to contribute? Men's medals, women's medals, ribbon bars, in-wear images? --dj--Joe Got them replaced.
