Gentlemen,

Just got this badge today and would like to ask a few questions about it.
I'm really a novice when it comes to badges.
Red Face
I would like to know if the sort of badge is very common, as I wasn't able to find another Assmann IAB bronze hollow stamped badge.
Are the bronze IAB rarer than a silver type ?
What would be the retail value of such a badge in that condition ?
Thank you all ! Wink

Patrice,
I know the feeling, I've learned quite a bit as moderator here. My gut feeling is a good one, the butt of the rifle looks good as do the cross hatch of the acorns, I have yet to see a hollow back one just going on a solid version as a reference.

I have run across only a very few in searches. They are very uncommon to find.

Not positive on value.

Thanks guys.
It is nice to know that such an allow Assmann marked badge is uncommon though.
I can only assume that if I would pay 200 $ USD for such a badge, that it would be a fair price. Wink

Pat, thats a nice badge.. Of course it'd be great to get it for less and its possible,,,but its in good condition and if its right there in front of you and you taking a liking to these badges, its a fair price for a nice badge...,G.

I hate to spend someone else's money, Big Grin, I believe that at $200.00 considering the rarity of a hollow Assmann marked bronze IAB, you will in all probability be able to recoup your investement with ease.

Thank you all !
I was first hoping that it was all original and that second, it was worth at least $ 200 USD, as I didn't have any clue about its value.
